Brighton Collectibles - Parts determine warranty, Brighton does NOT stand behind all thier products!!
I purchased their expensive ($400) computer/overnight several years ago and was told they would repair the bag if anything went wrong, just bring it back to the store and they would handle it. So it was worth the extra cost due to the warranty.
Well, the telescoping handle quit working, rending the bag useless. I called the store and they said to just bring it in and they would send it out for repair. Brighton....got to love the customer service and warranty...WRONG! Took the bag to the store and the staff said they don't make the bag I have anymore so they don't fix them.
WHAT?! What about the warranty, I was promised. The warranty lasts as long as they have parts regardless of what they tell you at the time of purchase.
When asked what they were going to do to resolve the issue, they stated, 'Nothing'.
Reason of review: Warranty issue.

I had the same thing happen with the telescoping handle on my 22" luggage. The handle is stuck in the down position. Took it to the Brighton store, then shipped to their factory, and I was told they cannot repair it.

Only used the suitcase about 3 times before the problem happened. So while it's a nice looking suitcase it's definitely not worth the money to purchase one as they don't last long!
Me too on my daughter's bag which was used 3 times
Have the same issue with telescoping handle on overnight bag I guess I won't bother with the store and repair???
